Über Ruth

Ich bin studierte Kirchenmusikerin und freischaffend unter dem Motto "Mehr als Töne" tätig. Neben Instrumentalunterricht an Tasten- und Blechblasinstrumenten leite ich den Blechbläserchor Weltewitz, den Gospelchor Anatupenda in Taucha und den Pilgerchor Kleinliebenau. Einen besonderen Schwerpunkt lege ich auf die musikalische Arbeit mit Kindern.

Über Matthias

Ich bin Physiker und derzeit am Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung GmbH - UFZ als Wissenschaftler für hochauflösende Elektronen- und Ionenmikroskopie, zumeist an umweltmikrobiologischen Proben tätig. In meiner Freizeit übe ich mich als Hobby-Liedermacher und leite die Tauchaer Band Matze Moritz. Seit den CoVid-Lockdowns von 2020/21 versuche ich die Welt mit anderen Augen zu sehen und photographiere sie mit einer Kamera für sowohl den sichtbaren als auch den infraroten Spektralbereich, einige meiner Arbeiten hierzu finden sich auf unserer Homepage.

The band Matze Moritz cordially invites you to their upcoming advent programme on 18th of December 2022 5pm in Baalsdorf church !

The gospel choir Anatupenda has a new room for the rehearsals! We cordially thank Christin Gruller-Voigt and "Meine Tanzschule"!

About Ruth

I am a freelance musician with a master's degree in church music. Sticking to my philosophy is that music is "more than notes" I am conducting the brass-ensemble Blechbläserchor Weltewitz , the gospel-choir Anatupenda in Taucha as well as the pilgrims choir Kleinliebenau . I am also giving piano and brass-instrument lessons. Finally I want to emphasise that I particularily focus on musical education for children.

About Matthias

Im am physicist by training and am currently working at Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research GmbH - UFZ. There I am the responsible scientist for high-resolution scanning electron and helium-ion microscopy at the ProVIS - Centre for Chemical Microscopy. Furthermore, I am a hobby singer-song writer and I am leader of the band Matze Moritz in Taucha. Since the 2020/21 CoVid-Lockdowns I am attempting to view the world differently and snap-shot it with a selfmade IR-VIS camera. Some of my works can be found on our homepage as well.
